It does things like try to take you on the roads that were only meant for four-wheel-drive SUVs in Costa Rica. Their app is glitchy and never stays in the direction of travel so you have to constantly keep trying to adjust the map while driving. Google maps used to be the front runner in the navigation industry but now Apple Maps has not only caught up but surpassed them. It is showing on my mobile’s Google Maps App, but it is not showing online on my laptop! That is really spooky! Why is Google Maps pretending to me that I left a review successfully when they removed it? Do you doubt my words? No offense taken, because I would too … but why not see for yourself? Big Brother is not just watching us, he is also trying to pull the wool over our eyes! Maybe Google Maps will provide an honest answer here … but I am not holding my breath! Update: I thought I finally managed to leave a review for UPS on Google Maps.
I wonder how many other companies receive the same favour as UPS and why Google Maps unfairly censures genuine reviews. It is a pity that I cannot attach these pictures here, but I do offer them to Google Maps as proof. These pictures are proof of Google Maps’ phoney moderation of negative reviews for UPS as the reasons given for barring the reviews do not match the reviews’ content on each occasion. I took screenshots of the entire process. I tried it 4 times, dumbing the content down further each time, but Google Maps does not accept my negative review for UPS and turned down all related appeals so far too. I now tried to leave a much shorter review for UPS on Google Maps, but the site makes it almost impossible to leave negative reviews for UPS by barring them via its “automated moderation system”.
Because of bad experiences with UPS, I recently left 2 detailed reviews for UPS on Trustpilot. I actually really liked using Google Maps until I fell victim to its dubious content policy on reviews.
